This is to promote Home Rule and show why Superior residents should vote YES on adopting the Home Rule Charter in the upcoming 2024 election.
A History of Home Rule in Colorado and Superior
Home Rule is nothing new in the State of Colorado, nor even to the Town of Superior.
In fact, 93% of all Colorado municipal residents live in towns with Home Rule. Some of the biggest examples include Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Pueblo with smaller examples including Louisville, Broomfield, Erie, Longmont, and Westminster. This is also not the first time Superior has thought about pursing Home Rule for the Town.
